Client: Matador, a.s.
Profile: The Matador Company is an independent business group operating in the international markets in two main fields:

• Rubber – tires, conveyor belts, machines and machinery for the rubber industry
• Automotive – delivery of spare parts for the automobile industry

The revenues of the Matador group increase year-on-year in 2006 they achieved 16.86 billion SKK according to international financial reporting standards (IFRS). The Matador Company produces a broad assortment of tire profiles including high-performance and off-road, i.e. a complete range of tires.

Solution: Translata has put together a team of experienced translators and editors for the needs of the Matador Company, with a wealth of experience in technical matters, marketing and the rubber industry. Text was translated into German, English, Hungarian, Polish and Russian. Translata has adapted to the internal dynamics of Matador: we frequently carry out express translations to update the our client’s web site, or to comply with terms for the printing of promotion materials or deadlines for signing contracts. Thanks to proofreading performed by native speakers we have ensured a high quality for the final texts, which successfully represent Matador all over the world.


Client: PricewaterhouseCoopers tax, k.s.
Profile: PricewaterhouseCoopers provides audit, tax and consulting services to public and private organizations in a variety of industry areas. It employs more than 130 000 employees in 148 countries around the world.

Solution: For our client we almost exclusively provide legally authorized translations. We have put together a team of translators thanks to whom we ensure express translations in various languages. For PricewaterhouseCoopers we are able to process translations immediately; this is highly appreciated by our contacts in this fast-developing company who are accustomed to flexibility and high quality.


Client: METAL SERVIS Inžiniering, s.r.o.
Profile: Metal Servis Inžiniering focuses in particular on the delivery of raw materials for the metallurgy and energy industries, as well as technologies for foundries and the energy industry. It has been operating in this market since 1991.

Solution: For Metalservis Inžiniering we provided express translation of project documentation into English and translation of tender documents into the Slovak language for the purposes of tenders for the delivery of machinery for a thermal plant. The project included the translation of several hundred pages of technical materials and express legally authorized translations. Several translators participated in the project; the terminology and delivery of the translation to meet the client’s requirements was managed by the project coordinator. At present we provide translation and interpreting services related to metallurgy and metalworking for the client.


Client: Orange Slovensko, a.s.
Profile: Orange Slovensko, a.s. is the biggest provider of mobile telecommunication services and the biggest telecommunications operator in Slovakia in terms of number of clients and revenues. At present the company provides services for more than 2.5 million clients.
Solution: We deliver express translations of technical manuals describing complex technological devices. After signing an exclusive translation contract with this leader in the mobile communications market, we put together a dedicated team of translators and revisers with a special knowledge of IT issues. Following our success with this project, we now provide translation services with a high added value for other clients in the area of IT as well.


Client: Customs Directorate of the Slovak Republic
Profile: The Customs Directorate of the Slovak Republic (Colné riaditeľstvo Slovenskej republiky) operates throughout the territory of the Slovak Republic. It is a budgetary organization of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, with its registered office in Bratislava.
Solution: The Customs Directorate contacted us with their requirement for the express translation of construction documentation extending to several hundred pages. The documentation had to be translated within three working days. Documents were delivered to Translata in .pdf and .dwg formats, mostly drawings of individual building objects. A team of translators and revisers in the specializing in construction and electrical engineering worked on the translation 24 hours a day. Prior to delivery of the translation, the graphics staff worked for several hours on adjustments to the translation in the graphic studio. The translation was handed over by the project coordinator in the early hours of the morning to ensure the timely handover by courier of the printed translation at the place of delivery.
