Interpreting

Translata regularly provides interpreting services for seminars, lectures, and business meetings. The most frequently used forms of interpreting are:
Simultaneous interpreting
In this form of interpreting, the expert works simultaneously with the speaker and uses interpreting equipment. Two interpreters are required, as a standard, who take turns at interpreting every half an hour.
Simultaneous interpreting is used during conferences, congresses, seminars, and company presentations. In simultaneous interpreting, the customer provides the interpreter with background documents (brochures, presentations, and information about the subject of interpreting) in order to enable him or her to prepare for the needed terminology and to render thereby a perfect performance.
If the client holds an event at a venue that does not have the necessary interpreting equipment or they do not provide the interpreting equipment themselves, we will provide it for them. The advantages here are verified contractors and smooth communication between our interpreters and technicians.
Consecutive interpreting
In consecutive interpreting, the expert translates the speech of the speaker sentence by sentence, or a group of sentences. This form of interpreting does not require the use of interpreting equipment. Interpreting is used particularly during business meetings, trainings, assisted sightseeing, and business trips.
If you would like to use our interpreting equipment, please see our offer.
